How Do You Stay Consistent With Supplements?
Supplements can play a huge role in setting the groundwork in building a solid, holistic foundation. In my private practice, I focus on patient education and help patients adjust dosages and personalized protocols so that they have a deep understanding of how they can categorize, incorporate and fully utilize supplements on their own. Having this understanding provides structural stability and sends signals of safety to the system. Knowing exactly why you are taking certain supplements can also help with keeping consistent in taking them!
When beginning a new supplement plan, it’s important to slowly introduce one at a time so that you can monitor and observe for any adverse reactions and/or noticeable benefits. Introducing one new supplement every two to three days can help carefully track and monitor your experience with each one. The timing and dosages of supplements can vary from person to person (depending on unique compositions, needs and certain health goals). If you have any questions on supplementation, check with a trusted, holistic healthcare practitioner that can work with you to create a strategic treatment and supplement plan aimed at root cause resolution.
Pill Pack Options
In general, I like to work with circadian rhythms, assisting the body in producing more natural energy in the morning and resourcefulness throughout the day, while placing the more calming supplements in the evening or just before bed. For travel and organizing supplements by morning/night, I’ve found that pill packs have been really helpful! Here are some options to choose from:
- Petite Pillbox *Great For Travel!*
- Daily Pill Organizer
- AM/PM Weekly Pill Organizer
- Small Weekly Travel Pill Organizer
I use Fullscript to give patients convenient, 24/7 access to top-quality supplements and features that help keep them on track with their wellness goals. Through Fullscript, I send complete supplement recommendations to their device, they purchase supplements, and Fullscript ships the products to their front doors.
Refill reminders and an optional “autoship” feature ensure patients never worry about running low on their wellness products. Fullscript also keeps patients up-to-date with the latest health and wellness research. They send evidence-based content created by their integrative medical advisory team to patients’ inboxes (there is always the option to unsubscribe anytime, but most love it!)
