Welcome to heartbeat, our 5 topic newsletter the life of the Let Go & Grow Community! I am so happy you are here.

Here, you will continue to receive direct messages, practical tips and all of my favorite recommendations on all things health x growth- straight to your inbox every Sunday.

To keep it simple, I will only choose 5. 5 carefully curated recommendations and resources that can directly impact your health, well-being and whole life experience.

Think session notes, new exercises, supplements, health gadgets, podcasts, books, recipes and more.

So let’s get started shall we?.. with 5.

1. Session Note From The Week
In order to value yourself, you must value yourself. In order to believe that you are important you must believe that you are important. There are no shortcuts to this. There is not a diet, a style, a partner or an external item on the planet that can create this shift- and even though certain choices are more constructive than others, there is nothing external that can bring this home except the choice to go within and radically change perspective in a way that cleanses your entire system.

For more information on exactly how to do this, you can check out my private practice or the tools I use within in, in the LG&G Foundations Tool Kit here. All of my patients receive the tool kit upon enrollment as well.

2. Health Tip
Whether it’s a recipe, a supplement or a new exercise or activity you choose to engage in, I think there is a lot of value in researching the benefits of the choices your engage. I find that this can be an intelligent way to optimize the choice through the power of the placebo effect!

3. Product I Love
Waterloo, sparkling water, particularly black cherry! With Waterloo … you can drink it plain, add flower remedies, create a half sauv blanc – half sparkling water drink… unlimited possibilities.

4. Beyond Ramen [new heartbeat section alert! :D]
I’ve recently decided that I would like to learn how to cook from the ground up. In this new section of heartbeat, I will be sharing tips on how to cook in a simple way. I’m thinking simple prep and clean up, less than 5 ingredients, low carb and medicinal.

This week’s recipe is a simple overnight chia seed pudding.

Base Ingredients: 3 tbsp. chia seeds, 8 oz. unsweetened nut milk (I use macadamia or almond), and 1 serving size of collagen peptides or a protein powder of your choice (I use 2 scoops of unflavored, vital proteins linked here).

Directions: most recipes call to mix well, but because I love when food tastes “even”, I typically blend it in my Vitamix for less than 10 seconds and pour it into a mason jar. You actually don’t have to let this set overnight- but I would let it chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes! Voila! Creation made. The perfect low carb, filling breakfast or snack item.

Topping Ideas [be creative, let your taste buds be your guide]:  monk fruit sweetener (depending on your protein powder choice + sweet scale), cinnamon, strawberries, bananas, Himalayan sea salt, sunflower seed butter, dark cherries, shelled pistachios, blackberries, cacao nibs!

5. Collagen Peptides vs. Collagen
There are many different types of collagen in the world of health. In practice, I prefer collagen peptides because in general, they are more bioavailable- because they are fully hydrolyzed, they are a shorter chains of amino acids than collagen and gelatin.

This article and the Vital Proteins website also dives in a bit deeper.

For 15% off of all supplements, make sure to sign up for Fullscript, my online supplement dispensary, where I can provide specific, high quality recommendations and the best prices.
