Winter

Just a fun fact, did you know that Dec. 21st was the first official day of winter in the northern hemisphere?

In Chinese Medicine, winter is represented by the water element, and it is all about intuition, depth and introspection.

Think relaxation, rest, family, vision, meditation, will power, courage and the dark.

The water element represents the endocrine system, the kidneys, and the urinary bladder. It asks us to switch into a calm and connected mode, rest and revive the spirit as we move forward into the new year.

Winter is also the darkest time of year, asking us to go within and find light and remember and re-remember, to go within to find light.. because to seek it outside of ourselves would be to forget that we are the source. #letgoandgrow
