1. Session Note From The Week
Your energy speaks volumes, and you don’t even have to say a word. Often, we feel the need to have proof that we have changed- we don’t. Not only does this shift permeate throughout our choices naturally, it is felt immediately upon reception. Meaning this… you can allow the shift to enter into your experiences naturally without reacting to the impulse of reflexive action. Instead, you can be with the change. This allows you to remain present and in your place of power as you move forward with authenticity and without the need to declare and box yourself in through unnecessary explanations, rationalizations and justifications that only act as added weight to you and appease the mind.

3. Book I Am Reading

I have not been more into a book in a while. I’m finding myself immersed in this one as it confirms so much of my clinical observations and techniques in practice along with deepening my knowledge as a practitioner, giving me the ability to take my practice to the next level. I love this book by Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez, titled Nutrition and the Autonomic Nervous System.

4. Beyond Ramen

In order to identify the ideal diet for you, it is of the utmost importance to clear the slate, learn how your body works and identify what type you are [more on this later] for food freedom, where you can remain satiated in a sustainable way- but today I just wanted to share some helpful tips to get you started, which you can find in this article for more depth.

5. Healthy Tip

In a recent interview, I was asked about my favorite piece of advice I’ve ever received, my response was this: There are so many! My Dad always had these incredible little sayings that he just drilled into us: learn something new every day, plan your work and work your plan, and focus on the fundamentals [block and tackle] and everything else will take care of itself. I’ve found this to be beyond powerful and true!

I should have added, it’s a beautiful day to be alive! He says this every single morning- and it really is, even if it isn’t- it can be [perspective].
