Welcome to heartbeat, our 5 topic newsletter the life of the Let Go & Grow Community! I am so happy you are here.

Here, you will continue to receive direct messages, practical tips and all of my favorite recommendations on all things health x growth- straight to your inbox every Sunday.

To keep it simple, I will only choose 5. 5 carefully curated recommendations and resources that can directly impact your health, well-being and whole life experience.

Think session notes, new exercises, supplements, health gadgets, podcasts, books, recipes and more.

So let’s get started shall we?.. with 5.

1. Session Note From The Week
Begin to notice the difference between striving and trying vs. being.

If you need additional support on this, make sure to check out the LG&G Tool Kit, where you will also receive access to a private FB group for community support.

All of my patients also receive access to the LG&G Tool Kit and community, so if you are interested in coming on board, feel free to book a free consult here. We are now welcoming new patients into our telemedicine practice with user friendly virtual sessions.

2. The Book I am Reading
Recommended by Gabor Mate, I am currently reading The Drama of the Gifted Child by Alice Miller- a book on childhood trauma and the impact of repressed anger and pain.

and if you struggle with these issues and are ready to release them, make sure to book a Free Consult right here, where we can discuss exactly how to clear them.

3. Grow Local Love
This week, I was interviewed for the women really mean business podcast by Jeff Biletnikoff with Athena International, an organization that I am proud to be a part of and am most passionate about! The podcast won’t come out until the fall- but I wanted to share this organization with you as I find them amazing and would encourage anyone drawn to check it out. They have levels for every stage of leadership- even college!

The ATHENA Leadership Model, developed by Martha Mertz, has led to an international presence, with communities and individuals across the globe benefiting from awards and curriculum based on the eight principles from the leadership model: living authentically, learning constantly, advocating fiercely, acting courageously, fostering collaboration, building relationships, giving back and celebrating.

4. Beyond Ramen
Oooo! I promised two recipes via IG stories this week! So, here we goo..

recipe #1 sunflower seed butter cookies: 1/2 cup of almond flour, 1/2 cup of unsweetened sunflower seed butter, 3 tsp. of Lakanto’s monk fruit sweetener, 1 tsp. of baking powder, a dash of vanilla extract, mix in a bowl, scoop with a spoon into spheres, press with a fork two ways (crossed) and bake at 350 for 10 minutes… voila! sugar-grain-dairy free, vegan, keto, paleo everything! done.

note: I created this recipe to provide a dessert that is not only delicious but full of healthy fat to also curb cravings- feel free to add more monk fruit sweetener or even chocolate chips or macadamia nuts for fun!

recipe #2 healthy version of Serendipity 3 NYC’s frozen hot chocolate (one of my favorites!): 12 oz. of unsweetened nut milk (I like Milkadamia or Kirkland or Califia Farms Vanilla Almond Milk), 2 tbsp. of Navitas raw cacao, 1 tbsp. of om mushrooms (I use the beauty blend- because it contains a variety of mushrooms versus just one), 1 packet of Lakanto’s monk fruit sweetener, blend, I add ice afterwards but many people want it to have more of smoothie like consistency and add ice to the blend. Voila! done.

note: I created this blend to boost the immune system, strengthen the stress response and satiate cravings in a nutrient dense way that yields health!

All ingredients available through amazon, can now be found in the Beyond Ramen category of our store!
