1. Session Note From The Week
If it doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t work at all. Just a simple reminder to remember that you are one of a kind.
2. First Book Of The Year!
This week I finished an audiobook, taken from a retreat by Eckhart Tolle, titled Findhorn Retreat on stillness amidst the world. I love when authors read their books. I find it incredibly special. In this work, I took away, once again, the importance of presence, the importance of not making anything more important than what it is and importance of quieting the system to tap into an innate intelligence that bypasses the limitations of the mind.
3. Interesting Research
The Institute of HeartMath is just incredible, and it never ceases to amaze me how quickly our system can enter into a state of coherence. In under 2 min. our system has the ability to reorganize and reorient itself with our conscious awareness and loving attention. Similar to the heart based practice, you can check out HeartMath’s quick coherence technique right here.
4. Random 2020 Thing I’m Up To
Each individual’s system is unique and requires a different diet. I have many patients that lean towards and thrive on the more vegan side of things. However, my system happens to require red meat for optimal health, high quality of course. So this past week, I began an all red meat diet + matcha + tea + sea salt and my typical vitamins and water. I experiment on myself often, and if I am being honest, I have never felt better. I will be on this diet for at least the next 28 days. I can write more about this if you are interested- but this is a derivative of the carnivore and AIP diet, which is often prescribed for severe autoimmune issues.
Personally, I’m already noticing my life simplify, high energy, and a complete satisfaction without cravings.
I’m currently not eating snacks but if I were, I would be looking here… low sugar, low calorie, high protein, high fiber, organic…. what are your favorite healthy snacks?
