Welcome to the nineteenth issue of heartbeat, the life of the Let Go & Grow Community! I am so happy you are here. Here, you will continue to receive direct messages, practical tips and all of my favorite recommendations on all things health x growth- straight to your inbox every Sunday morning.
To keep it simple, I will only choose 5. 5 carefully curated recommendations and resources that can directly impact your health, well-being and whole life experience.
Think session notes, new exercises, supplements, health gadgets, podcasts, books, recipes and more.
So let’s get started shall we?.. with 5.
1. Session Note From The Week
You are important. You count. You make a difference, and your life touches another’s just as their life touches yours. Set out to treat yourself and others like gold- and know that your presence is a gift, in it of itself, to this world. Look up, connect, smile, notice things, hold the door for someone who is a little too far away, ask questions, engage to brighten someone’s day, and it will brighten yours.
2. Healthy Tip To Consider
Gluten. Dairy. Sugar. Alcohol. Coffee. Processed Food.
None of these are good or bad- but for some people, they are addictive. Become aware of your relationship with these items, and if you are uncertain, put them down for a week to 28 days and then, reintroduce.
For more on this reset process, feel free to reply to this email.
3. Fun Fact For Our First Winter Weekend
Just a fun fact, did you know that yesterday was the first official day of winter in the northern hemisphere?
In Chinese Medicine, winter is represented by the water element, and it is all about intuition, depth and introspection.
Think relaxation, rest, family, dreams, meditation, will power, and courage.
The water element represents the endocrine system, the kidneys, and the urinary bladder. It asks us to switch into a calm and connected mode, rest and revive the spirit as we move forward into the new year.
4. Quote I Love
“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” – Carl Jung
5. 20/20 Vision With The Passion Planner
